Walt Coker for Mayor of Hattiesburg Straight Talk. Bold Leadership.

Who is Walt Coker?
Because I’ve never run for public office, some have asked,

"Who is Walt Coker?"

This website is a response. Rather than repeating a lengthy political essay, I'll keep the platform short and use this opportunity to tell you who I am.

I, like many of you, am unsatisfied with many of the actions, or rather inactions, of the city government. Some of our city departments are in crisis. We’ve enjoyed growth and a high quality of living for a long time, but this could quickly change. When no other candidate convinced me that he or she could solve these problems, I realized that I knew the answers.
